The water puck uses a Feather with RFM69 to receive watering directions from the Rasp Pi.

There are three irrigation areas in my backyard. Each area has tubing set up for drip irrigation. Water flows from the outdoor spigot - which is letting the water through - to the valves.

I am using Orbit valves. The valves are turned On/Off by three relays controlled by a Feather. The Raspberry Pi sends a start/stop watering command for a specific valve over RFM69 to the Feather. The Feather and the solenoids on the valves are powered with a 24VAC power supply (more detail).
