Remote Control from BiglyBT Windows OSX Linux - BiglySoftware/BiglyBT-Android GitHub Wiki

It is possible to control a subset of the Android version's features remotely by using the 'BiglyBT Web Remote' plugin in the desktop version of BiglyBT.

First you need to install the 'BiglyBT Web Remote' plugin in BiglyBT, either explicitly from the plugins page (See Tools->Plugins->Get Plugins) or by selecting the Tools menu and then 'Remote Pairing' and following the instructions.

Next you need to enable control of BiglyBT-Android over the LAN by going to the Settings and selecting 'Allow Remote Control on LAN'. When this is done the settings will show an IP address and port (e.g. 192.168.1.23:9093) - you will need this to configure the connection. Note that in some versions you will need to restart the Android app to make this configuration change effective.

Once done go to the View menu in BiglyBT and select 'BiglyBT Web Remote'. This will open a view detailing remote instances - you need to add the Android app's connection details (192.168.1.23:9093 in the above example) in the first box and hit the 'Add' button. You can then progress to the next entry and hit 'Connect' to attempt to connection to the Android app. If things are working you will see a successful connection message in the log area. Then hit the 'Launch UI' button to connect to the app.
