Binary Patching - Berserker66/MultiWorld-Utilities GitHub Wiki
Using a Berserker Multiworld Binary Patch file (.bmbp)
Make sure your Zelda no Densetsu - Kamigami no Triforce (Japan).sfc file is in the root folder of the program (next to MultiClient), or its location is correctly configured in host.yaml
If you used the setup, then it made sure of that for you.
Make sure the patch file is extracted from any archive it might have come from
3 Ways of getting the rom:
Drag and Drop the patch file onto MultiClient
Open with... the patch file, selecting MultiClient.exe as the program to open it (Windows)
Run MultiClient with the patch file as a cmd argument
Your MultiClient should now be connected to the MultiServer already that was baked into the patch
If you're getting a connection refused message here, the server either isn't running or isn't port forwarded
Start the ROM, which should be next to where you had the patch file
If needed, usually for emulators, load the multibridge.lua
Client should now automatically see the snes connection, read in the rom and authenticate against the server.
