TDF Software List
Required Software:
- Adobe Creative Suite. UC Berkeley students have free access - find more information and request your Adobe CC license here.
- Github - Click here to create your course repository, if you haven't already (Shm sent this out in an email at the beginning of the course).
- Figma. It will provide a creative collaboration space for us to work together, and is free for students - sign up using your Berkeley email.
- Rhino & Grasshopper - Free 90 day trial, 80% off ($195) for students afterwards, for a lifetime subscription.
- Particle IDE (browser based)
- openProcessing / p5js (browser-based, or via VSCode extension)
- VSCode (Visual Studio Code)
- Particle Workbench (VSCode extension)
- Github copilot (VSCode Extension) - An AI Pair Programmer and learning assistant used while working in VSCode

- Mural [design communication and thinking]
- Miro [design communication and thinking]
- Various web-based collaborative coding tools [browser sandboxes]
