Notes

-When doing static routing, use the network address, not a host address.

-If the notification is sent saying there is an overlap with subnetting, make sure that the subnet mask numbers are all in the correction section.

Problems

Cisco is saying that my manufacturing and engineering networks are overlapping.

-I had the wrong subnet mask, fixing that fixed the problem.

The North American LANs are unable to communicate with each other.

-All the information in the router has been double checked.

-All triangles are green and everything is on.

-They are now able to communicate and I have no idea what I did, maybe I had wrong information that I corrected somewhere.

Reflection:

The item that gave me the most trouble was the communication between the North American LANs, but that seemed to resolve itself. For the future, problem solving should start with double and triple checking that absolutely every number is the correct number.
