You can Fast Forward and Fast Rewind using either [Tab] or [T]

In MMP this is called tabbing

• [Tab] plays forwards or backwards rapidly by skipping either 1 or 2 seconds
• [T] plays forwards or backwards rapidly by skipping a fraction of the total duration

- both keys can be held down for rapid repeat - the number of seconds skipped is reported in the [Notification Area](Notification_Area) - you can also rapidly "scrub"/"jog" through the audio or video file - see the second table below

Caps Lock On		[T]	Tab forwards 1/200th of the total duration

	Shift	→ right arrow	skip forwards 5 seconds or the value you have set in skipSeconds= in the MinimalistMedia.conf file
	Shift	← left arrow	skip backwards 5 seconds or the value you have set in skipSeconds= in the MinimalistMedia.conf file

Control	Action
[Ctrl] and mouse	hold down a Ctrl key and move your mouse along the progress bar MMP will rapidly "scrub"/"jog" backwards and forwards through your audio or video file
Audio & Video Timeline Editor	Editing Audio & Video
vertical cursor	grab the vertical cursor and drag it along the Timeline MMP will rapidly "scrub"/"jog" backwards and forwards through your audio or video file
