1.5 Trading - Baumgaer/Game GitHub Wiki
Trade should be essential in this game. Not only the players should be able to trade as "gods", but also the subordinate monsters among themselves and, as mentioned above, with allied monsters.
1.5.1 Trade between players
Players can trade in several ways:
1. Unconditional: means that one player can discard things in neutral territory and another player can pick them up. This, however, carries the risk of fraud and "unauthorized" interference by others.
2. Group / Union: here a special UI is opened, which ensures by mutual confirmation that nobody cheats or interfere.
3. Alliance: players can easily put things into the premises of trading partner who is in the same alliance and, if allowed, take things directly.
4. Auction House: players can visit an auction house in the cities and place items there for a fee. The auction houses of all cities are connected to each other.
1.5.2 Trade between monsters
At first, monsters can trade inside of dungeons. For this it needs a market where they can offer their goods. The goods are obtained by doing their craft activities, by searching in the landscape or by any other means. Monsters are also able to trade with monsters out of dungeons. It can happen on the green meadow. This ensures that monster can also obtain other goods, which are rarely found in your own dungeon.
1.5.3 What to do with the resources that belong to the monsters?
The resources that belong to the monsters, will be used to develop new things on their own, while they haven't received any orders from players, or to provide for themselves. But I don't know exactly what that will look like yet.
