1.4 Alliances with other players - Baumgaer/Game GitHub Wiki

Players should not only be able to travel alone, but also to work together with others to have better chances and, of course, to strengthen each other. They should also be able to expand their territory and move around more freely. In addition, it should be possible to trade securely.

1.4.1 Type of associations

1. Alliances: Alliances should be permanent alliances, which can only be completely dissolved if this is explicitly desired. In addition, the other monsters cannot be attacked and the dungeons are revealed. Monsters can also enter all Alliance dungeons freely and trade with the allied monsters. Players should also be able to trade by simply placing the resources they want to trade in each other's rooms or taking them from each other.

2. Groups: Serving as a spontaneous union, e.g. to run an instance together. In the group, Loot objects are distributed by dice, if someone picks something up. Mutual attack is not possible, the dungeons are not revealed and access to rooms is also not possible. However, there should be a special interface that makes it possible to trade fairly.

3.Unionen: Consist of several groups and serve primarily to pass larger Raids.

1.4.2 Effects of alliances

If possible, a specially marked path should gradually form from one dungeon. When monsters move on this path, they can receive special bonuses, such as stronger attacks or movement speed. In addition, an area in which the Alliance has a special influence (by the frequent presence of monsters, etc.) should appear on the overview map. Special bonuses will be also available in this area, but they won't be as strong as those given on the path. With raids it is possible to increase the drop chances on special, in order to create further incentives to join alliances.
