About the mod
Legends is a major overhaul of Battle Brothers from Overhype Studios, with an aim to expand on the original game and build upon it. Our features are built with more replay value and variety in mind, while also keeping the feel of the original game.

Fashion
- Battle sisters with new faces, bodies, clothes, hair, jewelry and events
- Layered armor system allows millions of outfits, allowing for both dripping out your company and min-maxing gear
- Adds dozens of new custom armors and helmets
- Interchangeable vanity layers and new colour variants
- A barber (plastic surgeon) in your camp to customize your brothers and repaint their gear without needing paint sets
Dynamic Perks
- Hundreds of new perks sorted into perk groups
- Cloth and Medium armor types to compliment Nimble and Battleforged
- Viable Unarmed combat builds that aren't simply about punching
- Exhaustive perk tooltip descriptions, so you don't second guess your choices
- Customized perk groups for an assortment of specialized backgrounds like assassins, bards, monks and more
- Every recruit is unique, with a variety of ways to build up your recruits and their place in the company
New Enemies
- Legendary beasts to hunt, perks, contracts, trophies and rewards to unlock
- Dozens of powerful new enemies like hulking Orc Behemoths, Winselmutters, Necrosavant Lords
- Legendary locations, ancient temples, a grand tournament with procedural arena battles.
New Origins
- Vanilla scenarios enhanced with new perks, equipment, backgrounds and events
- 25 scenarios to choose from including berserker, assassin, necromancer, the undead and randomised scenarios
- Starts have campaign wide effects and many new mechanics
Company management
- Save your troops into formations of up to 27 mercenaries and be able to take up to 22 of them in battle
- New camping system for hunting, gathering, crafting, salvaging and training
- Non-combat reserve backgrounds with powerful abilities and special perks
New gear
- Dozens of new weapons, halberds, estocs, glaives, staves, orc weapons, tools, instruments, and more.
- Unarmed accessories
- Tower shields, parrying daggers, buckler and shield rework
- Craftable legendary items, potions, armor, weapons and shields
- Rare rune stones that add powerful upgrades to your items.
Dynamic world
- In game sliders to control world size, game speed, cities, factions, oceans and difficulty
- Increased event frequency, new events, new contracts
- A dynamic economy, towns trade, raid, grow and shrink based on your actions.
- Towns will build their own attached locations which are greatly expanded
