Electrics Control - BILLyTheLiTTle/RCController GitHub Wiki
Any car should should have electrics on it, or else it is forbidden to be driven in a public road. So does this car! Even if you want a normal car to teach your children even you want a race car and you have removed any unnecessary weight the controller will still be able to control the electrics of the car. The electric parts of this car are divided to automatic (the car handle them for user's sake) and manual (the user should remember to handle them).
Automatic
- Reverse light: It will be turned on/off depending the future direction of the vehicle. It cannot be turned on and the vehicle would move forward.
- Brake lights: As I said the braking happens when less throttle is applied. In every condition that the car slows down (except for freewheeling) the brake lights should be turned on.
Manual
- Position lights/Driving lights with tail lights: The user must remember to turn them on/off depending the environmental light (night/day).
- Long-range lights: In conditions there is no light at all the user has to enable the long-range lights for better visibility. But the opposite driver should never be bothered by the long-range lights.
- Turn lights: The user must remember to use them when changing direction or lane.
As a driver you only need to control the the lights belonging to the manual section. In the future I will try to move as much lights as possible to the automatic section.
