Updating Web Services (if needed)

1.How to update

To update the latest version of web services, copy from "WS_Latest versions"(from bbcftp in anydesk) to the client's folder where you want to update the ws. Make sure that you have the correct strings(dataSource) in the "setParameters" files before you go to the next step.After that, make sure that you copy the "SetParameters" also outside the folder.A perfect example will be the photo bellow.

Run the scheduled operation "IposUpdater" again to apply the new web services. Otherwise, the operation will run automatically every 4 hours if immediate assignment of the new WS is not desired.

2.Verifying Web Services Functionality

To verify the current version of the WebService, open the browser and enter the address: "http://localhost/IposVision/v4/PromoEngine/api/Version/GetVersion" in the "Search" bar, and the current version of the WS should be displayed as shown in the image below.

Verification of Web Services functionality can be performed using the "CheckIposVisionWebServices" application from the "C:\BBC\WebServiceInstaller" directory of the respective PC. The result should be similar to the one presented in the image below to confirm the correctness of the operation.
