Introduction
The 620 PRO Bootloader Installer is a application which is part of the PRO CFW Project.
It installs a custom replacement XMB shell which exploits a security flaw in the Runlevel Execution of the 6.20 Kernel to auto-execute a QuickStart on system start.

Comment byHello. I have a question about vshorig.prx: I accidently activated the permanent patch twice so it seems that the vshorig.prx on my stick has been created from the already patched firmware (6.20). Is this file bound to the the PSP it originally came from or could I use any vshorig.prx? Or is my vshorig.prx on the stick still of use?

Comment byheres a question, i have a psp 3k 4g (GoW Ghost of Sparta) it was on 620 pro then i updated it to 660 but now the lowest i can downgrade it to is 635. i have tried the most recent downgrader and nothing happens. it'll tell to hit X to start the SCEA thing and all it does is take me back to the XMb. my question is can 620 be permed to my psp if so can any of ther other CFW be permed
[email protected], Nov 20, 2011
Comment byI'm not sure about why you can't downgrade to 6.20 (the most I've downgraded on my Go was 6.39 to 6.20), but what I do know is the 4g PSP 3000 can use 6.20 (and 6.20 PRO for that matter) and can be permed. 6.35 above can't be permed on it, however, as the exploit used was patched on those firmwares.
