mst_ship.xml (Done, Works): ships.json

Defines the ship names. Yomi doesn't need to be changed: it in fact can help basic Japanese readers.

Three new enemy ships are unique to Kancolle Vita and had to be translated anew: Armored Carrier Demon, Armored Carrier Princess, Canal Princess.

See here for an implementation of a KC3 translation matcher: https://github.com/BASLQC/kc-vita-translation/blob/master/translate.py#L15

  • dict['mst_ship_data']['mst_ship'][0] - Iterate through dict, first replace 改 with Kai and 二 with Ni, then split string by space and take first item (name) as key against ships.json, then place translation in it's place. Leave Yomi untranslated.

First, kai, A, B, and zwei and whatever crap need to be filtered out with regex replace 改二.

Next, the way I did it was to use the ship name as key and the translation as value. This way, I can simply input the ship's name, after seperating the XML name by space (causes two exceptions: Graf Zeppelin and Prinz Eugen, which are handled manually due to their spaced names)
