We have prepared a WHITEBOARD CLEANING MACHINE with one DC motor (on which the entire mechanism depends). Our mechanism is Scissor lift mechanism in which links in a crisscross X manner are made which are connected to the motor. For particular movement program is written with respect to the motion of motor. An MIT inventor app is created to take user input direction. This works with Bluetooth in which the ON, OFF buttons were made. Rack and Pinion were also used as pathway and wheels for the wiper for a stable and uniform motion of the wiper. When we decided to make the product, four different models were prepared and this concept was implemented using pugh chart which requires only one DC motor and is quite effective and attractive.

Future scope

As per our testing the machine on the whiteboard it was able to work as long as 3-4 hours. This could be helpful to replace human effort on erasing the board constantly when needed and help the teachers and students to concentrate on their work and not to make them involve in cleaning the board to avoid disturbance or distraction in the class.
