The project introduces the design process and design result of cloth folding machine ,cloth folding is always a tedious process for most of the people,it is a good idea to produce a machine that can reduce the work and time of folding clothes.the cloth folding machine is designed and produced by a group of four engineering students. The final product is designed by using four flipboards to fold the cloths and flipboard gets rotated according to the rotation of DC motors that are attached to the hinges of flipboards and a battery is used to supply the electricity to the machine and the sensor senses the presence of clothes and these is the machanism of cloth folding machine.

Working principle of cloth folding machine:
The machine is used to replace the person's manual operation to realize the folding and winding. The machine lays the clothes on the folding board, and the folding board is inclined at a certain angle. The pressure plate limits the width of the folded clothes, and the folding slider moves on the guide rail to automatically fold the clothes out of the regular rectangle.

Components name : Cardboard,hot glue, screw driver, servo motor, thermacoal, cutter, bread board, aurdino, shirt folding code, thread, remote control,stepper motor, drilling machine, plastic boards, dc motor, wires.
Mechanism : The machine is programmed to fold, and stack simple clothes. It will operate in a semi-automated process; The customer only need to lay the clothes flat on the platform and the machine takes them in for folding. It should be connected to a power source. The machine works smoothly and stably. We used a stepper motor to drive gear combinations to flip boards of two sides. The left board is to be set to flip first. When left board fall down, the right board goes up. We are using a remote control here to control the machine and we used a combinations of gears and a set of mechanism to connect the gear to the flipping boards.

Working principles and mechanism: Process of this machine is easy .The clothe folding machine will start once the push button is pressed.When the push button is pressed,motor will rotate anti clock wise.Once it reached the time Set in the program,it will stop.Then motor will return to the orginal position by rotating clock wise.The sequence of the motor will be same for all motors. The folding motion of the machine is control by the motor which is attached with the folding materials. Second motor is the first motor to rotate where it will make the Second flag of the Polystyrene to rotate to the left.Then first motor lift up and make flag first to rotate from left to right.The next motor bottom to top to finash up folding mechanisms and finally, motor will move from top to slide the folded clothes on a tray that will Stacked the folded clothes This motion Continous.Untill the shirts are fanished.
