When does that occur?

Unexpected error occurred while reading/writing cache entities in 'secondary' format (Adal format for Msal, Msal format for Adal).

This error is not considered as fatal, so execution is not interrupted, however SSO sharing (between Adal and Msal applications) might be affected.
