Result pages

The initial version of the search engine was built with PHP, elasticsearch and composer. The image below shows a screenshot of this version.

This version was an intensive approach. Therefore we made a switch to the simpler visualization tool Kibana, which now is used for the frontend of the search engine. Elasticsearch is still used as the backend. The following two images show how the Kibana interface displays the search results. As is visible, it is possible to search for both keywords and sentences. As you can see, Kibana outputs the results with a nice and clean interface. The little triangles next to the search results function as links, when you click on it the whole article will appear.

If a user is interested in the whole content of a document, it is of course possible to unfold this information as is visible in the following image.
