  1. grep a port if it is running

    netstat -nlp|grep 2181 ps -ef | grep java

  2. Start Kafka-zookeeper

    bin/zookeeper-server-start.sh config/zookeeper.properties

    it will start zookeeper , need to check whether it is running or not. we can run a command

    telnet localhost 2181 [in a new console] get connected with localhost

    > stat [in the same console]

    we will write stat in the same console to see the statis

  3. Start kafka Server[broker]

    bin/kafka-server-start.sh config/kafka-server.properties

    it will start kafka server broker service.

  4.  Command

    bin/connect-standalone.sh config/connect-standalone.properties config/connect-file-source.properties config {/connect-file-sink.properties}
