Testing the new Account Details feature

  • Use version 10.4.0 Pre-Release 1 as mentioned in paJDYF-i4k-p2
  • Start onboarding normally; remember to use your internal a11n WordPress.com to connect.
  • Important: In the step Active payments, choose Start accepting payments. Though it says that a real live account is created, but with WCPay Dev Tools, itโ€™s still a testing account that allows us to test this project.

  • No need to enable feature flag or anything like that.
  • Confirm: across the journey, you will see the Account Details section under WP Admin > WooPayments > Overview will look like screenshots in https://github.com/Automattic/woocommerce-payments/pull/11048
    • Focus on design because specific texts and links are fetched from the server.
  • Confirm: you will receive several emails after finishing KYC, having the first successful transaction, etc.
