This plugin provides an automation for project managers/leads to transition issues and send reminders to respective people using JQL query with respective cron schedule.

Plugin features

  • Remind/re-notify defined users for given query issues e.g. (Project = SWTEST AND updated < "-5d") Remind assignee if issues are not updated last 5 days
  • Beside Remind/re-notify, plugin also provides an option to auto transition the issues
  • Project administrators are able to manage their actions and reminders
  • Provides REST API to run specific action reminder out side JIRA

Note

  • Does not support default project roles i.e. (administrators, developers, users)
  • Does not support default groups i.e. (jira-administrators, jira-developers, jira-users)
  • Plugin processes JQL query issues only if part of defined project and Ignores if Action does not exists in issue available actions list
  • Supports max 1000 (by default 25) issues per query to process

Use Cases

  • CASE 01 - To remind/re-notify users to action If issues are not updated last 5 days.
  • CASE 02 - To auto transition issues from one state to another (e.g. Waiting for Customers to Closed) If issues have no update from customers last 14 days.
  • CASE 03 - On completion from some build or project related job, we can trigger specific action reminder using REST API to remind/re-notify users for action. OR auto transition an issues to another state for action.
