Primary File page

Note the breadcrumbs on the top right that allow you to go back to the Unit Details, Collection Details, or Item Details in the hierarchical structure where this Primary File belongs. A Primary File is an A/V file that constitutes and Item in a Collection.

You get to the Primary File page by clicking the View button corresponding to the desired file on the Files section on the Item page (see Items). On the top of the Primary File page is the Primary File Details section showing the A/v file's attribute data. The bottom part of the page is the Output Files section, which shows the list of output files generated by AMP when this primary file is submitted to an AMP Workflow. If you choose to edit the attribute data of the primary file, you should remember to save your changes. The system will warn you if you try to leave the page when you have unsaved changes.

The list of Output Files is presented in a table format that can be sorted by any of its columns. The output files can be opened by clicking the link in the Output Link column. In the Name column you will eventually be able to add a name for this file so that you can more easily distinguish between multiple outputs of the same type; you will also be able to edit the name using that field. This name will in the future be shown in the Dashboard as well.

A Primary File is added to an Item using the the Items page (see the page documentation for details).
