Compile and upload the Sketch - AudioMorphology/waft GitHub Wiki

Clone the Waft sourcecode from Github

Note: just git clone, not sudo git clone, otherwise it'll screw the file permissions!!

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ git clone https://github.com/AudioMorphology/waft.git

Open the project in the Arduino IDE

  • Start the Arduino IDE
  • Click on File->Open navigate to the waft directory (where you cloned the source code)
  • double-click on waft.ino to open it

Compile the project

Compile the waft.ino sketch by clicking on Sketch -> Verify/Compile

Provided it compiles without error, the /home/pi/build directory should contain a number of files, including waft.ino.hex

Upload a compiled sketch to the atmega328p

The compiled waft.ino.hex file will be created in the build directory, and can be uploaded to the Arduino using the following command:

sudo avrdude -c linuxgpio -p atmega328p -v -U flash:w:/home/pi/build/waft.ino.hex
