Introduction

From the data portal of the Argentine national biological data system, you will be able to access the georeferenced data, the published data sets and the collections of the members of the SNDB. At the same time you can search the specimens and other records of published presences, know their geographic location and taxonomic information.

SNDB PORTAL architecture

The SNDB Portal uses the following user-facing ALA components:

• ala-hub
• biocache
• collectory
• spatial-portal
• specieslist
• webapi
• userdetails
• image

Infrastructure that hosts the portal

1. ALA modules (biocache and collectory): Ubuntu 14, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB HD.
2. Species pages: Ubuntu 14, 6 GB RAM, 100 GB HD.
3. Images: Ubuntu 14, 4 GB RAM, 100 GB HD.
