Implications and caveats
Severity: Warning
The ALA compares the decimal latitude and longitude values provided (and the number of decimal places) with the values given for coordinate precision and the uncertainty in metres. Where the number of decimal places supplied in the coordinates doesn't match the precision given (or the number of decimal places the coordinates may be provided in) but does match the uncertainty in metres (the radius of a circle within this location could be enclosed), this assertion is raised.
Darwin core explanation for coordinateUncertaintyInMeters: https://dwc.tdwg.org/terms/#dwc:coordinateUncertaintyInMeters Darwin core explanation for coordinatePrecision: https://dwc.tdwg.org/terms/#dwc:coordinatePrecision
Indicates the number of decismal places being supplied for coordinates for the record don't match the coordinate precision value, and are likely transposed.
Data custodian recommendations
