Meetings and dialogue:

Staging Post #1:

  • conversations via iMessage
  • layered approach on the Github wiki
  • Zoom meeting on February 28, 2021 to discuss ideas and work on the Wiki page together
  • Zoom meeting on March 1, 2021 to go over everyone's work and make final adjustments

Staging Post #2:

  • Discussed and updated our team charter
  • Received feedback on Staging Post #1 and discussed what needed to be done. Feedback notes can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c59Bs5rJqSTaqMU0V19GKOrjEe_GmDS_LXjsEe3e76o/edit#
  • After addressing the feedback on Staging Post #1, we discussed in class the storyboards we intended to create. As a team, we then agreed to each take one approach and finish it individually and meet roughly a week later to go over the work we all completed. Getting everything done early and not procrastinating was a priority.
  • We held a ~90 minute zoom meeting on Wednesday, March 17 to review each others' storyboards and make necessary changes. We ended the meeting by assigning editing roles and visuals jobs to complete before the next time we would meet.
  • We used the 40 minute workshopping session in class on Tuesday, March 23 to work on the competitive audit and discuss main story arc. At this time, the majority of the storyboards were complete, with exceptions to changes in #1A and a little work needed to be done on our feedback doc.
  • Throughout this process, we used iMessage to communicate with each other, asking any clarifying questions and always informing each other of the changes being made.

Staging Post #3:

  • Reviewed feedback from Staging Post #2 and discussed future changes. Feedback notes can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Sv9VvknGTbn0vwst62QL1PaIdilKaKZ70WMw5Td_ff8/edit?usp=sharing
  • Met on April 7th to discuss which storyboard we would use for our experience and why we chose it — agreed that it come take parts from both Storyboard 1A and 1B
  • Finalized the storyboard, adding all the extra scenes, dialogue, and voiceovers
  • In-class workshop on April 13th was used to explore our options in terms of creating our wireframe and prototype; we decided on using 360 degree photos that would be taken on campus
  • Independent work included working on the wireframe, recording voiceover, taking pictures, and writing scripts
  • Zoom meeting on April 19th was used to go over all the independent work everyone completed, compiling them together and discussing our ideas for the trailer and collaborated on the trailer script
  • Added some last photos and voiceovers into our final wireframe and prototype
  • Again, we used iMessage to communicate with each other

Staging Post #4:

  • Collaborated on a detailed checklist breaking apart Staging Post #4 and the presentation, assigning roles and deadlines to each team member
  • Reviewed feedback from Staging Post #3 and discussed future changes. Feedback notes can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Gowdq2rNM46fEXgez-NwDKiBVYPOHA5fnwx32Kc6Y80/edit
