Staging Post #2 Notes:

3/17 Meeting Notes:

  • Review feedback from staging post #1
  • Went over individual work assigned
  • Confirmed the approaches we will choose and display
  • Need more reasoning/research behind storyboards (i.e., why did you choose this perspective or portray this event in this way) — write out research on the notes section of the storyboard
  • Storyboard visuals needs work
  • Story arc needs in depth explanation on the effect of culture on the decisions and choices behind made
  • Agree to individually continue to work on storyboards over the weekend (due by Sunday, 3/21)
  • Meet again the week of 3/22 to discuss and finalize the staging post

3/23 Meeting Notes:

  • One voice, one author — assigned 1 person to be the editorial voice
  • Collaborated and finish competitive audit together
  • Wrote out pros and cons to each storyboard
  • Decided on our main story arc
  • Discussed the direction we want to take Approach #1
  • Agreed on our next steps and items we need to complete before the deadline
  • Storyboards need to incorporate more research evidence (i.e., articles, links, videos, interviews, etc)
  • Explain why we choose to design the story in the way we did and what perspectives it highlights

Staging Post #3 Notes:

4/7 Meeting Notes:

  • Chose our final story arc
  • Discussed why we are choosing this story for our experience
  • Went over feedback from Staging Post #2
  • Assigned independent roles/items to complete due before in-class workshop on 4/13

4/13 Meeting Notes:

  • In-class workshopping ~45 minutes
  • Goal: Finalize the story arc/transcript for the wireframe and prototype, explore options for creating our prototype, and ensure everyone knows what to do regarding their part
  • Walked through the two ways we are going to put together the prototype: live 360 degrees pictures and pixexid
  • Envisioned where the live 360 degree pictures would be taken on campus
  • Scheduled due dates for the parts of this staging post — finish the wireframe, prototype, and trailer transcript by this weekend, 4/18
  • If anyone has questions, they can text the group chat or schedule a quick group meeting before we meet again the week of 4/19

4/19 Meeting Notes:

  • 2½ hour meeting over zoom to go over all the independent work everyone completed over the past week and weekend
  • Reviewed wireframe and discussed the connection between the wireframe and prototype
  • Went over the 360 degree photos taken over the weekend and agreed on implementing some extra photos
  • Discussed our ideas for the trailer and collaborated on the trailer script/finding images and videos

  • Scheduled a due date of 4/20 to complete the missing parts needed to complete the prototype and trailer
  • Agreed to finish all the parts of Staging Post #3 by 4/21 so we can review everything before the deadline

Staging Post #4 Notes:

4/27 Meeting Notes:

  • In-class time (~40 minutes) to go over team de-brief of Staging Post #3
  • Finished de-brief worksheet
  • Reviewed all the parts to SP4, revisions to the team charter, created a planned schedule to the presentation element and assigned specific parts of the presentation to each team members (due by Thursday, 4/29)

4/29 Meeting Notes:

  • Workshopping for SP4 in class (~60 minutes)
  • Goal: transfer all the writing from our presentation doc to the slides so that we can run through the entire presentation over the weekend
  • Reviewed and discussed the instructors' feedback of SP3 and worked on the feedback doc
  • Moved most of our information for the presentation from our google doc to slides
  • Scheduled to meet Sunday, 5/2 to run through the presentation

5/2 Meeting Notes:

  • ~2 hour meeting over zoom to review/edit independent progress on the presentation
  • Put together presentation slides and speaker notes
  • Discussed next steps for SP4, assigning roles and work for each team member along with deadlines
  • Agreed to meet again the next day to run through presentation after each team member individually prepares their part

5/3 Meeting Notes:

  • Quick 30 minute zoom meeting to run through the presentation in preparation for class the next day

5/6 Meeting Notes:

  • Workshopping for SP4 in class
  • Goal: Continue working on our individual tasks to give us the opportunity to ask questions and clear up any uncertainties
  • Reviewed feedback on our presentation and applied it by editing our slides and speaker notes
  • Worked on inserting pictures into 360 degree photos (did not work)

5/11 Meeting Notes:

  • 90 minute zoom meeting to finalize our Github site
  • We also went over our presentation in preparation for our final class
