We are striving to foster empathy and create a conversational space where people can bring their respective cultures, but simultaneously learn more about others. We hope that our project can be an introduction to some about social justice and activism, exhibiting how the athletes they watch are using their platforms for good. For others, we hope that our project not only shows them why politics are important for those that are fighting for their rights, but that it also encourages them to dive deeper and potentially be more involved in advocating for these social issues.
