The Ritual Table is an advanced magical crafting station used to perform complex transmutation rituals. Unlike simple crafting recipes, rituals require careful setup, multiple components, and agricultural resources.

The Ritual Table is a complex crafting station that transforms items using a ritual. To use it:

  1. Setup: Place the table with four braziers exactly two blocks away in each cardinal direction (N, S, E, W).
  2. Requirements: You need a "Hex Focus" to activate it, salt to consecrate each brazier, and at least 8 fully grown crops nearby.
  3. Process: Put a base item on the table, load the correct recipe ingredients into the braziers, consecrate them with salt, and activate with the Hex Focus.
  4. Cost: A successful ritual consumes the ingredients and the salt, and resets all nearby mature crops to seedlings for power.
  5. Failure: The ritual fails if the setup is wrong, ingredients are incorrect, crops are insufficient, or you interrupt it.

Setup Requirements

Basic Components

  • 1 Ritual Table (center)
  • 4 Ritual Braziers (placed exactly 2 blocks away in cardinal directions)
  • 1 Hex Focus (required to activate)
  • Salt (to consecrate each brazier)

Agricultural Requirements

  • At least 8 fully grown crops within an 8-block radius of the table
  • Crops can be any type that uses the standard growth stages (wheat, carrots, potatoes, modded crops, etc.)

Brazier Setup

  1. Place braziers 2 blocks north, south, east, and west of the ritual table
  2. Add the required ritual ingredients to each brazier
  3. Apply salt to each brazier (right-click with salt) - braziers will show visual indication when salted

How to Perform a Ritual

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Place the base ingredient on the ritual table (right-click with the item)
  2. Load braziers with the required ritual components for your desired recipe
  3. Consecrate braziers with salt (all four must be salted)
  4. Ensure sufficient crops are fully grown in the area
  5. Activate with Hex Focus - right-click the table while holding the Hex Focus

During the Ritual (8 seconds)

  • Do not remove items from the table or braziers during the process
  • Particle streams will flow from each brazier to the table in sequence
  • Each brazier ingredient is consumed as it's absorbed
  • Salt is consumed from braziers during the ritual

Completion

  • The base ingredient transforms into the ritual result
  • All mature crops in range revert to seedlings (their growth energy powers the ritual)
  • Success is indicated by leaf particles and a completion sound

Failure Conditions

The ritual will fail and cancel if:

  • Missing salt on any brazier
  • Wrong recipe combination of ingredients
  • Insufficient crops (fewer than 8 fully grown)
  • Items removed from table or braziers during the process

Failed rituals produce smoke particles and an error message.

Tips and Notes

  • Build near established farms or crop fields
  • Keep a steady supply of salt for repeated rituals
  • Braziers can be pre-loaded with ingredients before starting
