The Censer is a block that burns combinations of magical herbs to produce powerful area-of-effect auras. When lit, it consumes two herbs and creates an effect in a radius around it for a duration.
How to Use the Censer
- Place the Censer in your desired location.
- Add Two Herbs: Right-click the unlit Censer with two different Core Herbs items. The order does not matter.
- Ignite: Use a Flint and Steel on the Censer to light it. It will only light if a valid herb combination is inside.
- Effect Active: Once lit, the Censer will emit smoke particles and apply its effect to all entities within its radius for several minutes.
- Extinguish: Use a Shovel on the lit Censer to put it out early. The herbs are consumed upon lighting and cannot be retrieved.

Effect Descriptions
Fireproof Presence
Creates a safe zone from fire. Any entity entering the area is immediately extinguished and granted the Fire Resistance effect, making them immune to further flame damage. Ideal for exploring the Nether or protecting wooden structures.
Undead Veil
A pacifying aura that causes hostile undead mobs (like Zombies and Skeletons) to become neutral. They will lose their target and not attack players or villagers. Affected mobs will also glow briefly, making them easy to spot.
Livestock Comfort
A calming effect that accelerates the growth of baby animals. Young cows, sheep, chickens, etc., will mature into adults much faster, making animal farming more efficient.
Miner's Respite
Provides essential mining buffs. Players in the area receive Night Vision to see in the dark and Haste II to mine blocks at a dramatically increased speed. Additionally, it will slowly repair any damaged anvils in the area, turning Chipped Anvils back into Anvils.
Fisher's Boon
A subtle magical effect that enhances fishing luck. While standing within the aura, players have a higher chance of catching valuable items and fish.
Suction Zone
Creates a localized vacuum effect. Item entities on the ground are automatically sucked towards any Hoppers within the radius. If no Hoppers are present, items will instead be drawn toward the nearest player, making collection effortless.
Unlocking Requirements
All Censer effects are unlocked by crafting or obtaining a Censer Block.
