Caves
Fossils
Fossils form under hot, dry biomes, in addition to the Nether:
Desert Caves

Two fossil formations and some Cracked Mud in a cave underneath the Desert biome (as seen with the Night Vision effect)
Badlands Caves

Frosty Caves
These caves form in Frozen Peaks & Ice Spike biomes and are encrusted with large Icicles.

Surface Generation
Immersive Weathering adds various types of surface soil blocks to different biomes during world generation, similar to how Podzol generates in the Old Growth Taiga and Bamboo Jungle biomes in vanilla Minecraft:
Humus
Humus generates on the ground in Dark Forest biomes.

Vertisol & Cracked Mud
Vertisol and Cracked Mud form in hot, dry biomes like the Badlands. Vertisol forms in patches on the surface, while Cracked Mud forms in patches just under water and along shorelines.

Fluvisol & Silt
Fluvisol and Silt form in wet biomes, like Swamps and Rivers. Silt forms in disks, and Fluvisol forms patches on the surface.

Cryosol & Permafrost
Cryosol and Permafrost form in cold, snowy biomes.

Ivy
Ivy generates on tree trunks in forest biomes.
