Description

Each new player receives a custom item upon spawning, which they can use by left- or right-clicking to obtain a random gem. Currently, there is no crafting system for the Trader or Upgrader; instead, I have implemented the Shopkeepers plugin to enable players to purchase these items directly. Additionally, I have designated specific Upgraders for particular gems (e.g., Astra Gem Upgrader) to enhance the gameplay experience.

This is NOT the real Bliss SMP plugin, it is a fanmade addon which uses the plugin ExecutableItems Premium to function. Also the abilities are not exactly the same and there is NO energy system allowing players to have infinite lives, however you can change this if you want. And finally this addon was made by Asmodeus and profsheep.

Configuration

Installation (Free)

To successfully install the Bliss SMP addon, follow these steps:

WARNING: This will not work on Aternos Servers

Step 1: Download the Addons:

Step 2: Place the Executable Items Plugin:

  • Move the Executable Items .jar file into your server's plugins folder.

Step 3: Start Your Server:

  • Launch your server to load the plugins.

Step 4: Verify Plugin Installation:

  • Check if Executable Items is loaded correctly by using the command /pl. Ensure that ExecutableItems is displayed in green. If it is not, visit the Executable Items support page for assistance.

Step 5: Prepare the Executable Items Folder:

  • Navigate to the generated Executable Items folder.

Step 6: Extract the Bliss SMP Addon:

Step 7: Place the Extracted Files:

  • Move the extracted files into the ExecutableItems/Items directory.

Step 8: Restart Your Server:

  • Restart your server to complete the installation process.

FAQ

How can everyone use the gems?

Please follow these instructions to give everyone the permission to use the gems:

  1. You need to add LuckPerms to your server.
  2. Restart your server.
  3. Check if LuckPerms is installed by running /pl and make sure LuckPerms is green.
  4. Use the command /lp group default permission set ei.item.* true to give everyone the permission to use the gems

Some abilities aren't working!

If you using the free version of the bliss addon on spigot you can have some troubles with the newer versions from 1.20.4, consider using a server version lower than that. If you are using the premium addon please ping profsheep or asmodeus on our discord server!

How do I get the items?

  1. Run the command /ei editor
  2. Check the renamed chests for the directory BlissSMP
  3. Click on it, and just shift right click to give to yourself! Or run the command /ei editor give @p [GEM NAME] (e.g: Astra1_Gem) For example: ei editor give @p Astra1_Gem

What are the recipes for each gem?

The plugin does not include recipes! Consider downloading CustomCrafting and add it to your server! Please don't ask us for help and join there support if you need help! Their discord server

The gems are just carrots on a stick!

Single Player

Following these steps will successfully install and apply your new resource pack in Minecraft!

  1. Open Minecraft.
  2. Access the Game Menu:
    • If you are currently in a Minecraft world, press 'Escape' to pause the game. If you are at the main menu, you can skip this step.
  3. Navigate to Resource Packs:
    • Click the "Resource Packs" button. (If you do not see this option, go to "Options" first.)
  4. Open the Resource Pack Folder:
    • Click the "Open Resource Pack Folder" button. This action will open the folder where Minecraft stores all texture packs.
    • If nothing happens, you may need to locate the folder manually. Depending on your operating system, the folder is located at:
      • Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks
      • GNU/Linux: ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home directory)
      • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden)
  5. Place the Resource Pack:
    • You do not need to close Minecraft to place the resource pack in the open folder.
  6. Select the Resource Pack:
    • After a few seconds, the resource pack will appear in Minecraft. Select it and click "Done."
  7. Apply and Enjoy:
    • The resource pack is now applied. You can load your world and see the difference. If Minecraft did not update the resource pack, simply exit and reopen the resource packs screen.

Multiplayer

Following these steps will successfully install and apply your new resource pack on your Minecraft Server using MCPacks!

  1. Visit the MCPacks Website.
  2. Press Choose File, then select your resource pack file. Picture
  3. Use the Upload button to process the pack.
  4. When complete, make note of the Download URL and SHA-1 Hash. Picture
  5. Install ForcePack from Spigot (free)
  6. Use ForcePack Wiki to install it correctly on your server
  1. Restart your server

The plugin doesn't work! I have an Aternos Server

The plugin does not work on Aternos Server. Please try another server host.
