Downloads

1. Download VESC Tool v3.00.
2. Download F1TENTH custom VESC firmware.

Connect to the VESC

1. Power on the VESC and connect it to the PC via USB cable.
2. Launch the VESC Tool.
3. Click on "Connection" in the left sidebar.
4. Select the Serial Port that the VESC is connected to and press connect.

Firmware Installation

1. Click on "Firmware" in the left sidebar and then go to the "Bootloader" tab.
2. Click "Update firmware on the connected VESC" in the bottom-right and "Write Motor Configuration" and "Write App Configuration" in the right sidebar.
3. Go to the "Custom File" tab.
4. Click "Choose file" and browse to the custom firmware folder. Enter the VESC_TOOL_3.00 folder and select VESC_60_MKV_5.02_SERVO.bin.
5. Click "Update firmware on the connected VESC" in the bottom-right.
