Decision makers should have skin in the game - They have to pay if things go south.

Don’t tell me what you “think,” just tell me what’s in your portfolio.
You will never fully convince someone that he is wrong; only reality can.
Avoid taking advice from someone who gives advice for a living, unless there is a penalty for their advice.
If something stupid works (and makes money), it cannot be stupid
If you do not take risks for your opinion, you are nothing.
