Manifesto

This is our initial manifesto for our team project. We intend to add to this as move along.

Team goals

• To follow agile methodologies, XP values and have 2 day sprints. We are looking to work on our application iteratively and with small implementations. We intend to have daily stand ups at 10am and retros at 4pm where we intend to have a working MVP by the end of Wednesday.

How you plan to work

• We are modelling out our MVP and seeing how our first iteration will look like. We will be using the methodologies and criteria listed above.

What the MVP is to be delivered on EOD Wednesday

Iteration - 1

• The MVP we will have delivered by Wednesday will be able to sign in and sign out, users will have a profile page and they will be able post their lunch spots, with a time and place of their choosing.

Iteration - 2

• We are looking to get google maps functionality which will show location and be able to choose lunch spots based on location.

Iteration - 3

• We will be able to add tags and filters to customise the users experience.

Technical direction

We are currently going to build the application within Ruby on Rails and get an MVP working on that. Then we will look to changing the front end to javascript and possibly react if we have time.
