Creating MySQL database - Artmal/edu-tool-for-youtube GitHub Wiki

Open MySQL Workbench and on the home page(on section MySQL Connections) choose Local Instance MySQL57. Connection need to have the following properties:

• Username: root
• Password: root

Login with with given username and password.

If you don't have the connection, you need to create it. Connection properties should be same as on the screenshot below:

Now you need to set up environment for executing queries. Press CTRL + T. It will open new Query Tab:

Then you need to create database for the project. You need to execute the following query: CREATE DATABASE edu_tool_for_youtube;

Now switch to the database: USE edu_tool_for_youtube;

Execute all queries from database.sql in order to create skeleton for the database.
