In this section you can find information about how ModMyFactory handles mod dependencies.

View Dependencies

To view the dependencies of a specific mod click on for that mod in the mod list. This will show all of the mods dependencies, required and optional ones as well as the required Factorio version.

Dependencies marked with are optional.
Dependencies marked with are not installed. If the dependency is optional this icon will be faint.

Download Dependencies

You can download dependencies of one, multiple or all of your installed mods by selecting Edit -> Mod dependencies, by clicking the button in the toolbar or by pressing Ctrl+D.

You have the option to show or hide optional dependencies in this list.
Optional dependencies will be marked with .

Missing Dependencies Indicators

If some required dependencies of a mod are not installed the mod will show a icon. If a modpack contains a mod (or other modpack) with missing dependencies it will show this icon as well.

If you try to start Factorio while some of your active mods are missing required dependencies ModMyFactory will show a warning message before running the game.
