This Design Projects Objectives is to research the hardware and growing materials that we will need to succeed in this project, as well as to purchase all of those items. The main categories of our purchases are the grow setup and the sensors. The sensors will need to be compatible with MyKodo and our budget. The grow setup will be everything that is not the sensors or things that are needed for wiring. We aim to have an efficient setup that is comprised of both pre-built and DIY components.
It is essential that we get everything purchased as soon as possible so that we can move forward with the more complicated aspects of this project. The build needs to be completed before we can start growing and the sensors are critical for getting MyKodo fully up and running. The creation of the actual growing operations will be time consuming and something that requires a good amount of tinkering. Getting everything to complete the project now will give us wiggle room for any complications that may arise.
