Configuring Settings - Arsonide/VoxLotus GitHub Wiki
Vox Lotus has numerous settings that it keeps track of that affect its behavior. For now, most of these can be set within the program itself, but there are one or two hidden settings that only appear in the configuration file, and who knows - there might be more in the future, so let's go over how to access and tweak them.
First of all, all configuration happens in "config.json" which should be in the directory that Vox Lotus is in. If this file is not present, then either redownload the program, or run it which will generate a blank configuration file.
The section you are looking for is, sure enough, "Settings". It is at the very top of the config file:
"Settings":
{
"PopUpInGame": "Unchecked",
"PopUpOutOfGame": "Checked",
"SpeakInGame": "Checked",
"SpeakOutOfGame": "Unchecked",
"OperationBriefingsAllowed": true,
"ResetBriefingsAllowed": false,
"CyclicBriefingsAllowed": true,
"ExtractorBriefingsAllowed": true,
"WarningTimeAllowed": true,
"WarningTimeAmount": 10.0,
"EnableDebugLog": false,
"RelevantPrefix": "[",
"RelevantSuffix": "]",
"DailyResets": "Checked",
"MissionResets": "Checked",
"CetusDayNotifications": "Checked",
"CetusNightNotifications": "Checked",
"EarthDayNotifications": "Unchecked",
"EarthNightNotifications": "Unchecked",
"UndefinedInterest": 0,
"UndefinedTediousTag": "Default",
"CreditsInterest": 2,
"CreditsAmount": 12500.0,
"CreditsTediousTag": "Credits",
"EndoInterest": 2,
"EndoAmount": 150.0,
"EndoTediousTag": "Endo",
"CustomSearch": "Comma separated reward names - supports exact names, wildcards, and regular expressions."
},
Most of these are self explanatory. For now, there are a few that do not appear as options within the program itself:
- OperationBriefingsAllowed: Should the program let you know how many invasions and alerts match your filters as it starts up?
- ResetBriefingsAllowed: Should the program let you know about the status of daily standing and mission resets as it starts up?
- CyclicBriefingsAllowed: Should the program let you know about day/night cycles as it starts up?
- ExtractorBriefingsAllowed: Should the program let you know about active extractors as it starts up?
- WarningTimeAllowed: Should the program give you warnings prior to a timed event, like a daily reset, or a day ending?
- WarningTimeAmount: How much warning should it give you?
- EnableDebugLog: This is mainly for internal use, but if you are having a problem and reporting an issue, flipping this to true might help. It dumps all notifications to a "debug.log" file with timestamps to help figure out weird bugs that may be happening. It is not meant to be on all the time.
- RelevantPrefix & RelevantSuffix: These are used to mark the specific reward that caused an operation to get flagged as "relevant". If you want this to be something other than brackets, you can configure that here. If you don't like this feature, you can set these to empty quotes to disable it.
You may notice a few other settings here related to extractors or "cyclic anchors". These are used internally by the program to do things like keep track of extractor progress while the program is off, so don't worry about them too much.
