TaSimpleStrategy BreakUp Parameters - ArsenAbazian/CryptoTradingFramework GitHub Wiki

TaSimpleStrategy BreakUp parameters used to configure the part of the strategy's logic, which detects the resistance breaks. o better understand what is it please refer to the TaSimpleStrategy article.

BreakUp Parameters

  • Enable - allows your strategy to detect resistance breaks. If Enable=true resistance breaks will be detected and corresponding long positions will be open. Otherwise if Enable=false, the strategy will do nothing.
  • AllowedDepositPc specifies the amount of deposit in percent which the strategy can use to open long position triggered by BreakUp signal. For example, MaxAllowedDeposit for strategy is $2000, AllowedDepositPc=20, this means that strategy open a long position for $400 when it receives a BreakUp signal.
  • MinBreakValue specifies the minimum price change from the last resistance level, which triggers BreakUp.
  • MaxBreakValue specifies the maximum price change from the last resistance level, which can trigger BreakUp, if by some reason strategy was not able to open position and price goes too high - there may be too risky to go long. Please refer to the BreakUp Min/Max article for greater details.
  • EnableStopLoss - allows the strategy to close the long position if trendline goes down after opening it. This is so-called StopLoss.
  • StopLossPc specifies the close price value in percent from open price. StopLossPc used only when you check EnableStopLoss checkbox. Please refer to the StopLoss article for greater details.
  • MinProfitPc - specifies the value in percent from open price. Used to calculate the close price. For example, a long position opened at $8000. MinProfitPc is 10%. When price reaches 8000 + 8000 * 10 / 100 = 8800, the strategy will close position.
  • AllowTrailing - allows the strategy to use Trailing mechanism for the opened position.
  • TrailingStopLossPc - specifies the value in percent from the highest price after open position. This parameter is used for Trailing.
  • DCAStartPercent
  • DCAStartAmountFraction
  • DCAEndPercent
  • DCAEndAmountFraction
  • DCALevelCount - all these parameters are used to control DCA algorithm. Please refer to the DCA article for a better understanding of what is it and how it works.
