Alessandra was born in 1198 Venice as one of the many child to a promiscuous Mercere magi. She was raised the next few years by a wet nurse and then put through some basic tutoring in a Mercere house. She likely saw folks dressed in red, and likely heard the word Mercere but was not formally tutored in how the Order works yet. She knows her father is a mage but had no contact with him and therefore the notion the notion of family is not quite ingrained in her. Irenicus arranged her disappearance in 1202 and brought her back to Cantus Arborum, promising to find her a powerful mage to learn under. Her arts were opened in 1203 by Irenicus, who didn't behave like an average Tytalus left alone with an apprentice with her, and entered Bartomeus' care without any apparent concussion or memory holes.
