When the previous RedCap of Cantus Arborum retired, Portus Coda appointed Bella to take his place. Initially, the older mages of the covenant felt insulted that they were getting an inexperienced young woman who clearly wasn't cut out for a life on the road. However, it is undeniable that Bella's work is impeccable, and she even enhances her visits with general political and artistic information about the region, quickly making her very popular among both the mages and the mundanes of Arboras. Her eloquence and her ability to travel in the form of a dove are likely important factors that have contributed to her success.
