Equipment
Background
Being born to a wealthy family of a local lord, Hypatia didn't have much trouble with her gift. Her family's servants would often avoid her, not to the point of dismissal but she rarely had friends to play with. Her parents were not exceptionally loving nor did they hate her, she was just around, another thing to take care of. However she did grow to enjoy plants, the only type of life which didn't avoid her. She grew up mostly alone but did have an imaginary friend named Henri, which turned out to be another persona deep inside her.
Early in her childhood, it was relatively easy to transform between these two "personas". The more time passed and she started to learn about the world around her the more she felt like she had a friend. However, when she turned eight things started going downhill. One day when she was playing among the gardens she saw her family gardener kill her father. The gardener fueled by spite which had grown over the years because of poor working conditions and pay had killed his master. Hypatia stared not sure what to think, her other side was in tears. Conflicted by the emotions the next weeks became tough, unable to change from persona to persona she was finally alone once more. Her mother soon passed as well, leaving Hypatia alone, a child unable to do their parent's jobs nor the ability to care for herself.
A man robed head to toe quickly snatched up Hypatia. At first, she struggled against the man. The man was Irenicus, who took her in as an apprentice, she learned to respect the man of oddities. Irenicus took the young pupil back to Cantus Arborum. Hypatia was a quick learner pouring through book after book, and to her paren's surprise had a quite clear mind. Irenicus being of house Tytalus, follows a strict code of conduct on how to raise and teach an apprentice like Hypatia. Hypatia was also taught about the cult of Diedne, the story of the house was shed on with a different light and Hypatia accepted her paren's teachings as fact.
Hypatia's apprenticeship was quite challenging because of the after-mentioned reason of having a tytalus paren. Hypatia's apprenticeship was close to torture and on multiple occasions, she was punished for perfectly normal behavior. To the residents of Cantus Arborum Irenicus' teaching methods would appear to be quite cruel compared to a normal apprenticeship. Towards the end of her apprenticeship, Hypatia decided that her paren Irenicus should not continue on this mortal coil. Hypatia tried to murder Irenicus while he was asleep. Irenicus caught Hypatia in one of his spells and instead of a beating or lowly punishment he finally admitted Hypatia might be ready for her Gauntlet. During the eristic moot, Hypatia and Irenicus battled in the areas of argumentation and spellcraft. Irenicus beat Hypatia easily in both arenas deeming that she was not ready. This happened a second time, and Hypatia was completely humiliated. The third gauntlet ended with Hypatia "expressing" her hate for her master, including a tantrum of all three of her personas, which did not land her into the order. A fellow Tytalus magi however talked with Hypatia, which led Hypatia to find a Quaesitor to accept her into the order. Hypatia was accepted, which Irenicus to this day does not accept.
When Hypatia was finally made a full member she immediately set out to create her laboratory. After the work was done she started gaining back some control over her personas, though it is fainter than what it was in her childhood.
Personas
Henri:
The persona of Henri has been with Hypatia for the longest, the two are almost like siblings, Henri or Hypatia often talking about "them" and not "her" or "him". Henri is a man about the age of Hypatia with short brown hair. He looks a tad rugged in a playful manner. Henri is a lot more humorous as opposed to Hypatia and doesn't have any clear goals apart from Hypatias

Lucie
Lucie is the second persona for Hypatia, Lucie appeared when Hypatia was going through her apprenticeship and needed someone to trust. Lucie has long golden locks and freckles. She is about the same age as Hypatia and Henri. Lucie loves speaking and helping others, this way Hypatia often gathers information, which the two other persona use for their own goals.
