- Configuration for local IIO Oscilloscope access
- Configuration for remote IIO Oscilloscope access via ethernet
The DataStorm DAQ development kit is designed to run as a standalone desktop computer. Connect a keyboard, mouse and HDMI display to operate in this mode.

The AD738x demonstration uses AD7380® or AD7381® Evaluation Platform in this configuration which is comprised of the following components:
- Analog Devices EVAL-AD7380-FMCZ or EVAL-AD7381-FMCZ data converter board
- DataStorm DAQ (Trenz Intel® Cyclone® V SoC TEI0022 Development Board ) (includes 12VDC power supply)
- Digilent Analog Discovery 2 Signal Generator with dual outputs
- Digilent Discovery BNC adapter board
- Two (2) BNC male to SMB Female Cables
- Monitor with HDMI input
- HDMI cable
- Keyboard and Mouse with USB connectors
- Separate Windows PC running Digilent WaveForms App
Follow the steps in the order shown below.
- Insert the EVAL-AD738x-FMCZ FMC connector into the FMC mating connector on the DataStorm DAQ board
- Attach the monitor to the DataStorm DAQ using an HDMI cable
- Attach the keyboard and mouse to the DataStorm DAQ using any of the 4 USB ports
- Connect the Signal Generator to the EVAL-AD738x-FMCZ SMA connectors
- Ensure that Jumper LK4 is on position 3,4 for setting external reference to +3.3V, Jumper LK3 is in position 1,2 to to get +12V from FMC on the EVAL-AD738x-FMCZ board, Jumper LK5 is in position 3,4 to get onboard vlogic supply on AD738x. Ensure Jumper LK1 & LK2 is in position 1,2.
- Connect the power supply to the DataStorm DAQ
- Plug the AC-DC adapter into an AC outlet
