Configuration for local IIO Oscilloscope access



The DataStorm DAQ development kit is designed to run as a standalone desktop computer. Connect a keyboard, mouse and HDMI display to operate in this mode.

The AD469x demonstration uses AD4696® Evaluation Platform in this configuration which is comprised of the following components:

Assemble the Hardware

Follow the steps in the order shown below.

  1. Insert the Micro SD card into the SD card slot
  2. Insert the EVAL-AD469x-FMCZ FMC connector into the FMC mating connector on the DataStorm DAQ board
  3. Attach the monitor to the DataStorm DAQ using an HDMI cable
  4. Attach the keyboard and mouse to the DataStorm DAQ using any of the 4 USB ports
  5. Connect the Signal Generator to the EVAL-AD469x-FMCZ SMA connectors
  6. Ensure that Jumper JP11 is at position B to give onboard 5V reference, Jumper JP8 is in position A to give VADJ from FMC connector, Jumper JP7 is in position A to supply LDOin with AVDD.
  7. Connect the power supply to the DataStorm DAQ
  8. Plug the AC-DC adapter into an AC outlet

The AD469x demonstration uses AD4696® Evaluation Platform in this configuration which is comprised of the following components:

Assemble the Hardware

Follow the steps in the order shown below.

  1. Insert the Micro SD card into the SD card slot
  2. Insert the EVAL-AD469x-FMCZ FMC connector into the FMC mating connector on the DataStorm DAQ board
  3. Attach PC via ethernet cable
  4. Attach the Micro USB cable
  5. Connect the Signal Generator to the EVAL-AD469x-FMCZ SMA connectors (channel 0)
  6. Ensure that Jumper JP11 is at position B to give onboard 5V reference, Jumper JP8 is in position A to give VADJ from FMC connector, Jumper JP7 is in position A to supply LDOin with AVDD.
  7. Connect the power supply to the DataStorm DAQ
  8. Plug the AC-DC adapter into an AC outlet
