The EVAL-AD7606B-FMCZ evaluation kit features the AD7606B 16-bit, 800 kSPS, 8 channel analog-to-digital converter (ADC). A 7V to 12V external bench top supply is regulated to 5V and 3.3V to supply the AD7606B and support components.

The EVAL-AD7606B-FMCZ is an evaluation board that allows the user to evaluate the features of the ADC.

Full specifications on the AD7606B are available in the product data sheet, which should be consulted in conjunction with this user guide when working with the evaluation board.

Full descriptions of these products are available in their respective data sheets, which must be consulted when using the corresponding evaluation board.

Analog Devices AD7606B Block Diagram

The block diagram of the EVAL-AD7606B-FMCZ® Eval board (below) shows the major components. Each analog input is bipolar input with CHx- channel connected to AGND. Conversion results from the AD7606B are communicated to the FPGA via the FMC-LPC connector using 4-channel SDO pin via SPI in serial interface mode or using 16bit parallel interface DB. both SPI and parallel interface along with BUSY and CNVST can be used as control function in ad7606B.

The EVAL-AD7606B-FMCZ evaluation kit features the AD7606B 16-bit,8 channel with 800 kSPS each, analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The AD7606B expects the input signals to swing between +AVCC and -AVCC. Analog input is bipolar with CHx- pin connected to AGND. Reference voltage can be given through both internal and external option through JP6, default at position B. interface type can be selected through PAR_N/SER_SEL pin through JP5 , default connected at position A.
