For the demonstration, the microSD card inserted into the Meerkat has been pre-programmed with the Linux OS as well as all of the Python code required to set the ADC registers, read the sensor data and make it available via UART on the Meerkat. If the microSD card is missing you will need to purchase a replacement and transfer the required data onto it. Complete instructions are available here.
The only other software required are two executable files labeled 'safari_desktop.exe' and 'safari_test.exe'. These get downloaded to the User's PC and can be found on the Code tab of this Github site. To download, first click on the file name:
Do this for both 'safari_desktop.exe' and 'safari_test.exe'.
