AppleScript is the native scripting mechanism for [Mac OS 8.1]]. It is used by [[AcceptFromUnixApp]] to automate the transfer of [[THINK Pascal]] source code files from the host computer to the proper folders in the [Watchmaker (volume) volume in the emulator.
