#Intro The current Area FiftyLAN website design is from 2015. While a number of things have changed and improved, the design fundamentals are 3 years old and in need for a fundamental refresh. This page summarizes the ideas and goals, from which Github issues can be derived.

#Website sections The website is more than just the home page. We can divide the website in 3 sections

• Homepage / Landing page
• Ticket sale
• My Area The goals for each of these sections is discussed here.

Homepage

The goal of the homepage is to provide all information the participants require. Additionally, the homepage should motivate visitors to buy a ticket.

Ticket sale

The ticket sale is what generates income. It's important that this goes as smooth as possible, and that the user should not think twice about what to do to get a ticket.

My Area

My Area is where the user get their personal information. Everything the user can customize about their experience should be located here.
