List of checklists - Archilegt/Myriatrix GitHub Wiki

This is a running list on checklists of Myriapoda and Onychophora at country or regional levels. It is meant to be organized by region, country, and year, with the most recent checklist immediately below the name of the region or country.
This list is aligned with the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (Brummitt, 2001). Alignment with the zoogeographic regions defined by Holt et al. (2012) and Morrone (2014, 2015) is being considered.
Hoffman (1990) estimated the existence of at least 80 000 species of millipedes.
[More global taxonomic diversity counts and estimates to be added here]

Acknowledgements:
Recent checklists of Diplopoda from Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam were brought to my attention by Dr. Parin Jirapatrasilp. Bibliographic information provided by Dr. Ivan Hadrián Tuf improved three references from Middle Europe. Dr. Tuf also contributed three references (Baltic states: 1, Middle Asia: 1, Russia: 1).
