How Covid Affected Us - Aperture4161/DDLS GitHub Wiki

Since we where unable to come into school for the majority of the year, we weren't able to see each other much and plan a well rounded project. However we came up with the DDLS project because we thought it would be a really fun and cool way to pick locks. Covid affected us in several ways but the biggest one was the inability to receive feedback from teachers and students. This caused us to not be able to improve on what we where doing wrong as well as we could have. We also found ourselves unable to use 3D printed and Laser Cutting materials for the beginning half of our project and this set us back a few weeks. The last significant effect that Covid had on our project was the lack of a set work time from our project. With Engineering being in school that last few years we always had several days a week to work on the project including after schools, however with Covid restrictions implemented, after schools where limited, school days for Engineering during the week where cut in half and only about half the students from the class where normally there. So long story short, Covid most definitely affected our projects final outcome but we still did a great job adjusting to these changes.
